After all the recent connectivity issues and no real solution from this company, I have decided to switch. I found the Roku to be a great product for many years but now after not being able to get support for what seems to be a relatively easy but crucial issue, it's time to put the Roku to rest. RIP Roku.
@Kitty201One of the most common connectivity problems is channel congestion, so before you bail out on Roku, I'd recommend you install WiFi Analyzer for Android, or something similar if you have an iPhone. Once installed, tap to see how many others use the same channel/band then log into the router and choose one that's less congested. If you use service provider equipment, its likely the channel selector is set to 'auto' which is often the problem. Personally I prefer wired to wireless and use a powerline adapter instead. Regardless, best of success
If you have the Express 3930/3931 as indicated in your other posting, verify that your router wireless mode is set to b/g/n (all three speed settings). Also, try changing your wifi password to eliminate any special characters (just use numbers and letters) and then restart both the router and Roku again.
Feel free to post back with Roku model number from Settings/System/About and router model number if still having issues.
