I have followed every step. I have restarted my wifi, I have checked my wifi and password and both correct, re-wrote the password and triple checked it was correct. I have restarted my Roku many times. I have restarted my router even though everything else in my house works fine. I have done it all! I really don’t want to do a factory reset. It would be almost impossible to figure out my passwords for everything. I just want to watch Netflix and I’m getting so frustrated. It’s been like this for hours now.
I have had my Roku for about four years and have never had this issue.
I’m having the same problem. The only thing that worked for me was changing my router name to something different, with no special characters. I also turned off encryption, which eliminates the need for a WiFi password.
this worked for 2 out of 3 of my Rokus.
What is your Roku model number (found in Settings/System/About), your router model number, and ISP (internet provider)?
Also, are you seeing any error numbers in a message box (lower right)?
A little more detail the better since you seem to have responded to a thread but the forum software moved you into your own so can't see what issue what you were responding to.
