Roku 3 has stopped asking for it's weekly activation code for TCM movies

For about three weeks I haven't been asked to "Activate" my TCM movies app on my Roku 3. It used to be once I week I would to the activation-dance and all would be well. I have re-booted the Comcast/Xfinity modem and re-installed the app on the Roku with no change. I can view the TCM movie schedule I can stream any "Live" TCM content and even the "Host" intro on recently added films. I can stream any titles that are from 3 weeks ago but any new titles that have been added  won't play (except the "Host" intro if there is one, very weird). Now the movie trys to play but the playback "counter" reads 0:00 at the start and 0:00 at the end of the player, at the bottom of the screen and the buffer just spins. I can't figure where the issue is...is it TCM or Roku.  All other apps like Netflix and Prime are streaming just fine. If I go to my PC computer and go on-line I can play the movies. Any help is appreciated!
