Exact same issue, powered from the wall with the supplied Roku hardware, tried all 4 HDMI ports , factory reset, ensured the plug was in very firmly. Worked fine last night , nothing I do today makes a difference and NOTHING changed till it went into error 022

If you are seeing the error code 022 on your Roku device, it means that the device is unable to detect the wireless receiver. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue:

  • Restart your Roku: Unplug your Roku device from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Wait for the device to restart and see if the issue is resolved. You may also, try restarting your Roku device by the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.  
  • Check your wireless connection: Make sure that your Roku device is connected to the correct wireless network and that your internet connection is stable. You can check your connection by going to "Settings" > "Network" on the Roku home screen.
  • Move your Roku closer to your wireless router: If your Roku device is far away from your wireless router, move it closer to the router and see if the issue is resolved.
  • Check for wireless interference: If your wireless network is experiencing interference, your Roku device may have trouble connecting to the wireless receiver. Move other wireless devices away from your Roku and wireless router, and try changing the wireless channel on your router to see if that resolves the issue.
  • Reset your wireless receiver: If the above steps do not work, try resetting your wireless receiver by unplugging it from the power source and plugging it back in after 10 seconds. Wait for the receiver to restart and see if the issue is resolved.
