RCA smart projector with Roku will not find new router

We bought a new wavlink router ac3200 and our rca smart projector Roku will not find it during setup. We have tried to manually enter the ssid and password. We have reset the network, we have factory reset the built in Roku and nothing works. To trouble shoot I connected the Roku device to my iPhone 15 hotspot and it connects fine. Please help me figure this out.

    What channel is your router using?  Is the 2.4GHz band enabled?  Older Roku devices that support 5GHz only support channels roughly below 50 or above 150 (no DFS channels) and channels 1 to 11 on 2.4GHz.
