Help can’t connect to the wifi and don’t have control

okay basically i lost my roku remote and we got a new wifi and now i can’t use the remote on my phone and it won’t let me pair the device to add the new wifi what do i do

The easiest way is to set the SSID and passphrase on the new router to be the same as before.  Then the Roku and everything else will just automatically reconnect.

Banned but back. Because why not?

We're happy to help you set up your Roku device with a Roku remote. Please be advised that your phone or tablet must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Roku device in order for them to be paired. If, in any case, your Roku device and mobile phone are not connected to the same network, we highly suggest that you use a physical remote to connect them. You can check out this link here for more details on how to connect the Roku mobile app to your Roku device over Wi-Fi.
