Xfinity service.
Changed the band setting from b/n to the suggested setting. Now it won't connect to modem, changed back to b/n. Connects to modem, fails internet check.
Have restarted, unplugged, and done it all again. No internet.
I have the xfinity app, followed the procedures on there. It checks the modem/internet and shows that I am getting 110% of my plan speed. Shows there is no issue on its side.
Roku app is up to date.
My Alexa show is able to play music from pandora.
What is the router model number and your Roku device model number (from settings/system/about)?
Is this a bew device you are trying to setup or is this a device that was previously working on the network and connecting to the internet previously?

Check modem compatibility, Wi-Fi channels, and DHCP settings. Restart modem, router, and devices. Verify physical connections. Use Wi-Fi analyzer app. Contact Xfinity support if issues persist.
