apple watch app forces you to open your phone every time.
the Roku remote app for the apple watch does not connect to the tv even when phone is connected.
please make connection to the tv a process done on the apple watch independently without the need to open the phone. it really kills the purpose if i have to bring up the remote app on my phone anyway.

I can’t get my Apple Watch to connect either, even tho the app on my iPhone is connected. Also i have to have the roku app open in order to use the remote on the watch which is pointless. Why is that?
