View list of subscribed channels on a PC

Jump to solution

I find it convenient to add new free channels via my PC but I haven't found a way to view the channels that  I have subscribed to via my PC. I do know how to view them on my Roku TV but I would just like to view which one I have installed via my PC.

Thank you for your help.

Hi there,

Thanks for the note. There isn't currently a way to view a list of all channels that you've added to your Roku account online. You will need to refer to your Roku device or search a specific channel to see if it is installed. When searching or browsing the online channel store, you will see an indication on any specific channel indicating whether you already have it installed.

To see any channels that you have 'subscribed' to using your Roku account, you can log into your account at: https://my.roku.com/ and click 'Manage your subscriptions'.

Hope that help clarify for you!

Cheers,

Tanner

That isn't a solution.  Seems silly not to have a list of all added channels, and as a programmer, I know it isn't that difficult to implement.

Hi Tanner

Thx for info on this.  I think it would be great if Roku would add that feature - just a simple heading to click on "my channels" or something along those lines.  It's harder to keep track of things these days with us all having so many lists, passwords etc - and it would be great to be able to just log on, see what we have already subscribed to and quickly add or delete without having to go to the tv to search for this same info - seems kind of a basic feature it should have no?

Thanks again!

It is totally ridiculous that your programmers, in the 21st century, cannot add checkbox thats labeled "Show Installed" or some such that adds a simple filter via a WHERE clause to the SQL query you are obviously doing behind the scenes to populate the choices via "genre". I could add that in 10 minutes or less.

So, the answer is that there is no way to list installed channels when logged into your account on a PC.  I hope Roku would consider adding that feature.   I was planning on giving my daughter a Roku for Christmas and wanted an easy way to generate a list of the channels I have so that I could paste them into an email to her, guess I cannot do that.

It would be REALLY NICE to be able to see a list of all channels, including whether it is a Private Channel or not. Given the Roku announcement about the removal of Private Channels in late February 2021, I wanted to find out what Private Channels I have, if any, that will disappear from my Roku box. It is REALLY POOR that there is no easy way to find this out. In fact, is there ANY way to find this out? I have no idea.

And no, I do not have the one that seems to get mentioned the most often (PornHub). I know I've added some niche channels I've heard about from time to time that I maybe watched once or twice. So, will I miss them when they go away? Almost certainly not. But I'd still like to know what Roku is going to remove from my box ahead of time. How about it? Basic customer service. It would show that Roku has some respect for its customers even as it makes the business decision to remove the Private Channel feature.

Thanks for the info. Is there a way to submit a change request to Roku dev asking that this feature be added?

Thanks!

As of Sept 2022, I still can't find a way on the website (using MacBook, if that makes any diff) to see a list of the channels I have installed on my Roku, so I guess they still have not had the developers add this feature. I agree with other posters that this seems a very basic functionality. Why hasn't this been done?

Roku - please add this simple feature to the website. Thanks!
