I had a couple of posts on Youtube constant buffering but I guess they're closed as I can't add this comment to them. I have 2 TCL Roku TVs and a Streaming 4K stick. None of them can play Youtube as it constant buffers. Visited my daughter and she has a Roku Express and it plays Youtube flawlessly.
I edited this message. I bought the Roku Express 4K+ and YT doesn't work with that either. However YT does work on my LG TV (so not my network/WiFi etc.). Big mystery to me.
Hi, @BeachGuy1
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community.
We understand the issue you have encountered with the YouTube app on your Roku device and TV, which experiences constant buffering. Our team would like to help investigate this. Can you please provide the details below so our team can review this case further?
We hope to hear back from your response along with the requested details.
Best wishes,
Kash
I bought the Roku Express 4K+ and I'm actually having the same problem with Roku Express 4K+. YouTube constant buffering same as streaming stick 4K and TCK Roku. What is strange is that YT on my LG TV works fine. So it's not my network/WiFi etc. The Streaming Stick is attached to LG TV so same distance etc. Yeah, if anybody could help with this mystery I would appreciate it. All I can think of is the YT app on Roku somehow doesn't work but it does on LG(?).

Tracker ID: Just goes to Home as soon as I press home button
@BeachGuy1, ignore what's happening onscreen when you try to get the Tracker ID. Just press Home 5 times followed by Back (the button to the left of Home) 5 times and you'll get the ID.
Like I said, as soon as I press the home button (first time) it exits YT and goes to home screen. Even if I press it 5 times followed by back 5 times it's just on home screen with no code.
I just tried it while watching a Youtube video and it doesn't seem to work right. I don't know what goes on with that app, but it has always been different than the others in many respects. I had to press Home a bunch of times until the Home Screen came up and then Back five times. Hopefully that gets you what they're asking for, but if something ever becomes of anything with these Tracker IDs, it happens behind the scenes because I've never seen anything reported here once people post them.
