I have an LG smart tv with the Youtube app installed. I also have a HDMI 4k ROKU plugged into the hdmi port of the tv with the YoutubeTV app. I use the ROKU because I hate the LG smart remote and prefer to use the ROKU remote. Lately, the hdmi ROKU has been constantly buffering, to the point that the tv is unwatchable. Don't have that problem with the YoutubeTV app in the same wireless LG tv. Tells me the wireless connectivity provided by the ROKU device is inferior to the TV wireless. Wish they would port the ROKU remote to control the LG tv. would still have problems setting the shutoff timer.

I have taken all the steps recommended, and in the proper order. Still have the buffering problem. It is tempoariy solved if I exit the problem channel, start another channel and then return to the problem channel, and problem is solved for awhile. Does this suiggest a way to porduce a more permanent solution?
