Vix channel opens but doesn't play at all, works fine on computer and phone..not working on any rokus

As advised by @makaiguy, the troubleshooting steps will ensure a clean reset on the ViX app. Here's a step by step instructions for the troubleshooting step that you can follow:
- Navigate to the channel tile on the Roku home screen, press the star (*) key on your remote, and choose "Remove channel".
- Next, restart your device from Settings > System > Power > System Restart (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step).
- Once your player/TV starts up again, go to "Streaming Store" on the Home screen, and add the channel back once more.

Have you tried removing and re-installing the channel app?
After removing the channel, but BEFORE reinstalling it, RESTART** your Roku to clear its memory cache. Without the restart you may not get a clean reinstall. This is not a cure-all but at least it will assure you of having an uncorrupted copy of the current channel app.
Depending on your Roku model number you'll find the "System restart" option under either "Settings > System > Power" or under "Settings > System". If you don't have sufficient control to use the menus, or if it is just more convenient, you can also restart by pulling the power plug for a short while, then plugging it back in.
**On a Roku TV with "Fast TV Start" enabled, turning the TV off/on only puts you in/out of a low power standby state, it does NOT give you a complete restart. Use the methods above.

I had a similar issue with ViX not playing! Uninstalling and reinstalling the channel worked for me, but make sure to restart your Roku first like makaiguy said. That clears out any old data that might be causing problems.
