I purchased a Roku express 4K plus and connected it to my older Samsung TV and paired the TV with the remote. We did not have trouble for a couple weeks and then the TV started turning on and off rapidly. It wouldn’t stay on long enough to troubleshoot. I disconnected the Roku, removed the batteries from the remote. Plugged the TV into the wall and it continue to turn on and off. I thought this might be an issue because of the age of the TV. We plugged the Roku into a new LG TV, paired the remote and within 48 hours that TV began doing the same thing. That TV stayed on just longer enough for me to try to restore the factory settings. That did not help. We have had no trouble with Wi-Fi connection on our other devices. It started turning on and off faster and faster. It is clearly the Roku that caused the problem and now we are out two TVs. This is very upsetting as the TV is unable to be returned through warranty. #rokuexpress4k+

Via private message Roku admitted their device’s malfunction broke my tvs. They took my information to send me a new Roku (THAT I CANT USE BECAUSE I CANT AFFORD TO BUY A 2nd NEW TV) and said Support would call me “to assist me further.” I haven’t received a new Roku or any phone calls from Support. I asked for a number to contact Support myself and have received no response. Roku owes me a new tv!
