Re: Sound issues/skipping with Disney+

I was having an issue with Disney+ audio being choppy.

The Fix: changing the Roku audio mode from Auto to Stereo.

Roku settings > Audio > Audio Mode

Re: Sound issues/skipping with Disney+

Update: this issue is only with Dolby Digital Plus. Any other audio selection fixes the problem.

Re: Sound issues/skipping with Disney Plus

This issue isn't limited to Roku. I believe Disney use noise gates and audio compression across their platform to save on unnecessary data consumption across their servers. You would be surprised at how much data you can take up with empty seconds of audio.

I agree it's annoying as sin, but seems to be the only logic answer throughout all of my digging.
