Solving playback issues

My YouTube and Sling won't open but Netflix and Weather Nation run fine. Issues with other apps as well. Unplugged player several times. Did system restart several times. Nothing changes

Are you only experiencing this on YouTube and Sling? If so you may try the following troubleshooting steps below to see if this will do the trick. 

1. Remove the channel: Highlight the channel tile on your home screen and press Star to open the Options menu. Select Remove channel and confirm.
2. Restart your Roku device: Go to Settings > System > Power > System restart > Restart Now.
3. Re-install the channel: After your Roku device restarts, visit the Roku Streaming Store and add the channel again.
