Solving playback issues

My Hisense Roku tv screen just turned white. It still has sound. It was working fine all day then the screen just turned white. I've tried unplugging it, changing power source. Unplugged hdmi cords and still nothing.

and it just stays white? its probably diseased.

Turn on the tv.

Press the * button 4 times // this will enable audio guide (speaks when hovering a button)

That will allow you to navigate being the screen is white.

Navigate using the up and/or down buttons..

Go Settings > System > Power > System Restart and press the OK/Enter button on your remote.

This is different from a reset, or tricks like unplugging etc..

If the problem is resolved on restart, then it could have been something as simple as a error during reboot and you can be happy.

If not most likely it is your T-Con Card which you can find online for around $20 on Ebay for the Hisense RokuTv.

Yes it can happen straight out the box. but try the restart method I mentioned first. it might have just errored during an update..
