Hello
Have a Roku Stick 4k, SKU 3820R, connected to a regular TV in one room. Only use that to watch live TV via YoutubeTV.
The TV is on all the time (between 7am to 7pm)
After every hour or so, the Roku keeps going back to home screen.
I have restarted, uninstalled and installed YoutubeTV (this is the only app on the roku).
The roku stick is powered via its own power supply (not the TV).
Roku has been updated and there are no further updates available.
I have disabled power saving settings, I have disabled screensaver in themes-screensaver wait time settings. The YoutubeTV app closes or quits and Roku goes back to home screen.
Please advise.
Does the roku stick 4k not handle TV more that 1 hour?
Thank you
Hi there, thank you for replying.
I did update everything, as I mentioned in the original post.
In any case,
I found that there are actually 4 separate places to make changes to, so that the live TV continues streaming uninterrupted.
In ROKU stick
1. Disable screensaver timeout (settings-theme-screensaver)
2. Disable Bandwidth saver (settings-network-bandwidth saver)
3. Disable auto power savings (settings-system-power-auto power savings)
In Youtube TV app
4. Auto-pause settings (change from 4hrs to 24hrs)
Hope this helps someone with the same issue.
Thank you.

Have you checked the other apps and the internet connection of the Roku device?
Additionally, let's see if this works!
Update the app by highlighting the app tile > press the star (*) button on your Roku remote > select Check for Updates.
