New (7 weeks) Roku Ultra with multiple issues
Background: I bought my Roku Ultra on Amazon in January. It set up and worked fine for 5 weeks (Amazon return window closed after 4 weeks) but then problems started.
1. Whenever I touch the back half of my Ultra (like when I'm trying to unplug the power cord to get a restart) I get a minor shock similar to regular static electricity "shocks" I often get but I'd estimate that the Roku "shock" is about 3 times and strong and 3 times as loud but still not really painful. Most times, I get the shock, proceed to pull, wait and replug and everything works fine. Twice however, the "shock" turned off the Roku box, my Samsung TV and my soundbar. Both times, all 3 restarted without any obvious problems.
2. Without warning the Roku "locked up" and would not respond to any remote button push. When I restarted the Roku box, it came up in the Find My Remote (my term) mode with the remote beeping. But the remote was still unresponsive -- no button push would turn off the remote beep (it ended after 60 seconds as expected) and after Roku exited the Find My Remote mode, Roku would not respond to any button push.
So, I went through the Roku hard reset process. That mostly resolved the problem and most buttons on the remote work correctly. However, the right arrow functions as a 2nd "OK" button -- I can't move right, a right push opens an icon rather than moving to the next icon and using the volume button seems to be a 2nd "OFF" button, it turns off the Roku box, the TV and the sound bar (as happens during normal Roku OFF)
so, I went thru the remote reset process. There doesn't seem to be a hard versus soft remote reset process. That appears to work correctly (little light blinks for 20-30 seconds, then goes out) but it doesn't affect how the remote works -- still no Right function or sound adjustment.
If I use my iPhone as a Roku remote, it works fine including the Right button and volume. Same thing with using an old (6-10 years??) remote -- it works fine but lacks some of the functionality of the new remote but all arrow buttons and volume control work fine.
Any suggestions. Any hope Roku will replace hardware to fix the problem?

I think I'd try the warranty replacement process:
