Roku Ultra: periodic chirp sound followed by degraded sound

Jump to solution

So My Roku Ultra,  just does a CHIRP,  at unexplained times... TV off  SOUnd OFF,   especially at night or early mornings when the house is quiet, I will hear this Chirp or Beep sound coming from the Roku Ultra,  again,  TV is off, sound bar is off,   ?   It might Chirp Beep  one time in an hour, and I might not hear it again until later that night....but its does put off a Chirp.?  Any suggestions?

Our TV is an ONN Roku TV and it's constantly chirping. It's the kind of chirp that sounds like a smoke detector. It's completely unplugged from everything. Any luck fixing it? It's been unplugged for an entire day and it's still chirps! With no power source at all.

@nthfrl, are you sure there isn't a cricket trapped in your TV?

I have a roku streaming stick 1300 exhibiting the same problems. I also checked connections and turned things off unplugged and reset both tv and roku. Then I  changed batteries because it is time. The tiny chirp is almost unnoticeable, but now that I  read it here I  realize that is the source of the crazy chirp I could not find! I have already turned off sound leveling and night mode. Looking for a solve!!!
