Solving playback issues

Roku Ultra 4800x makes high pitched screeching noise when Samsung TV is turned on, screen has vertical bars. After approximately 20 seconds the the Roku restarts and returns to normal.

This is a recent change as the unit has been working flawlessly prior. I have changed usb ports - no change.

On one or two occurrences the unit goes through the restart 2x before returning to normal.

Software version - 10.5.0

Build 4208

Any help?

If you are still seeing issues with your Roku Ultra having vertical bars, please provide the serial number of your Roku device and can you also provide a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?

What happens when you plug it into another TV? That seems like a TV issue and not a Roku issue. How old is your Roku?
