Behavior Description: I can’t take a picture, but here’s what happened: Click on PBS app, it attempts to load and within seconds goes back to the Home screen.
Trouble shooting steps:
1) Deleted PBS application and reinstalled. Upon doing that, the PBS app would not display on the Home page. I went back to the app store and searched for the app. It was found and said that it was already added. It still did not display on the Home screen.
2) I did a complete Roku Factory Reset. I installed the PBS app. This time it displayed on the Home screen. Upon clicking on the app, it behaved as described in the Behavior description
I just filled out all this caca, but by the time I logged in at the end, it all went away.
Click on pbs app, back to the home screen

A lot of PBS Roku users seem to be having this problem starting in the last day or so. I have reported the issue to PBS tech support, but they will not be open until Monday. I have tried the remove, reboot, reload app approach without success.
I have been having trouble with the PBS app for about a month and today it just keeps crashing and putting me back to the Home Screen. I have deleted and resubscribed to the app, checked system updates, etc—all the tips I found from other users and it’s still not working. Clearly this is a well-known issue—is there a timeline for resolution?

Removed the PBS app. Did a system restart on Roku. Reinstalled the PBS app.
Still not working. Just goes back to the home screen.
Same exact problem for me. I could watch Nov 16, problem started Nov 17, 2024.

I have the identical issue and did submit a support ticket 11/17/24 at the PBS website. Hope they fix it soon!
Same here I have a Hisense roku tv and it's not working, but I also have an Amazon prime tv..PBS app works on my Amazon TV just fine, but not my Roku tv..so it's not the PBS app that's the problem but its Roku where the problem lies..
