Solving playback issues

My Roku 4802x streaming box keeps powering on my sony tv randomly. I exit back to the home screen and the next day it is back on. Is there a way to tell the roku to stop signaling the TV to power on?

Try disabling the 1-touch play CEC feature of your Roku device. 

Settings/System/Control other Devices/1-touch Play [uncheck to disable]

Actually I did and it may have solved it. I disabled it before posting  because it looked like it could be the cause. The TV did not power on overnight.  So hopefully it is solved, but I’ll give it a few more days to confirm.
