I am running the 4670x and my player just started doing it in the past two weeks. Annoying.
+1 for another slow loading apps.
Noticed it takes about 5 times as long to remove apps now, thought maybe too many installed.
Likely due to all the new screen covering ads, if they keep on like this I'll probably just put the Google dongle back on and toss the Roku. They don't even allow proper search anymore. Searched "the Masters" today, and it should have given the the option for Paramount, which is installed. Instead it ONLY offered me Roku channel Paramount subscription. So I couldn't just click and go, had to go out and migrate to the app and find the program since they're focused on ads and internal subscriptions now vs user experience...

Appreciate the idea. Mine is hard wired directly to the router. Min 500m down and average of about 15ms ping.
I'm leaning more towards the update adding the pop up ads and stuff to be the more likely culprit for breaking it.
Can you advise where the new "features" are stored, internal or external if available? I'm assuming they're given priority over channels?
Reformatted 32g card, then just threw a brand new one in for fun. Still run into same issue.
Struggling to see anything other than an update as there's so many people reporting the same issue in a similar time frame.
Hopefully they can rollout a fix soon, or at least not make it worse and add even more intrusive stuff.
Thank you,
