And me to the list of Pluto not working
We have 6 Roku TV'S and one with a Roku stick and none of them will load Pluto TV as of this past Saturday. Same issues as everyone has stated and none of the suggested fixes gave worked. Very frustrating.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least a dozen times, rebooted roku, unplugged modem, unplugged roku and hdmi, made sure roku and Pluto apps are updated… even had internet provider come out! it just plays the app logo and goes straight to Home Screen… Pluto tv is working on my other roku devices just not my Vizio tv… very annoying!!
Kudos to Pluto for providing a real answer! How hard would it have been for Roku to jump on this forum and give us the same answer Pluto gave (i.e. Pluto is aware of the issue and working on a fix)? Bad customer service on the part of Roku.
Didn't work. I got Pluto ok until I installed a new Express type roku device --- i9t replaced a Roku 3. Any other suggestions?
Pluto seems to be the only channel affected in my situation. It worked fine until I replaced the old Roku 3 with an Express and, also, signed in to Pluto for the first time (which I had never done before -- before I just ignored the prompt to do so and went on to watch the channel). I have multiple times removed Pluto, restarted the roku, reinstalled Pluto. To no avail.
Mine does the same. worked on a Roku 3 but then I replaced it with an Express. Have checked for updates --- that's fine. Have deleted Pluto channel, restarted roku, and reinstalled Pluto but it did not solve the problem,.
You know, now that I think of it, I had a somewhat similar issue with Xfinity Stream on Sunday night but it's been fixed. Every time I went to sports or my saved shows in the past, it would shutdown and close out. Maybe Sports was overwhelmed or it was being worked on considering the category on Sunday. All in all, it was fixed by MNF. In the past, Tubi and Crackle would do the same as Pluto but fixed right away. Why it's taking Pluto so long, who knows, but it seems to be in the relationship with Roku. It's fine everywhere else during these times. This concerns me for cord-cutting. I don't want to be left with zero access or forced to cast once we do since this happens so often on almost every app we use at some point.

I recently bought a new 4K streaming stick cause my old one kept stating it was overheating. Installed new stick today Sept 11 2024 and all the channels the work except Pluto. You click on the channel it shows the Pluto logo and goes back to Home Screen. Have removed the channel, restarted the system, reinstalled Pluto multiple times and same thing. Please Help or do i need to return this stick?
