If you subscribe to a service (such as Paramount+) through Roku, the uninstall function is not available. You have to cancel the subscription, which enables the uninstall function on the * button.
If you ever want to use your subscription on something other than a Roku device registered to your account, you should subscribe to the service directly with the provider, which would then allow you to access your subscription on any supported device.
