I recently started watching roku channel content on mu ultra. It was fine for a few weeks and now i cant load any content on my tv from the roku channel. I noticed it works on my phone. I tried rebooting...disconnecting and doing a factory reset.
Anyone else seeing this.?
Usually rebooting your Router and performing a System Restart (Settings/System/Power/System Restart) will resolve most Roku Channel and Roku related issues.
If an issue is confined to one channel/app, rather than the entire Roku platform (ie. no channels/apps will load), then usually the first troubleshooting step is to Remove, Restart, Reinstall (in that order).
1. Remove suspect channel/app (highlight channel, press * button on Roku remote, select Remove Channel.
2. Perform a System Restart in order to clear cache. (Settings/System/Power/System Restart or Settings/System/System Restart depending on device)
3. Reinstall the channel/app to the Roku device.
I'm having the same issue. It started about a week ago. I've tried manually updating the software, restarting the device, and uninstalling and reinstalling the channel. Nothing is working. (The issue is limited to only one device.) I can't reach Roku customer support to save my life. Was your problem resolved and, if so, how? Thanks.
What is the model number of your problem Roku device and what are the model numbers of the working Roku devices? (Settings/System/About).
The problem device is model 4670X Roku Ultra. The working device is 4800X Roku Ultra.
If you have both devices connected to the network similarly (ie. both by ethernet,or both by wifi), need to ask if you did the Remove, Restart, Reinstall procedure in that order.
If you did the System Restart between the Removal and Reinstall of Roku Channel, and both devices are connected to network similarly, then I think I would just Factory Reset the 4670. Press and hold the Reset button for 30+ seconds or Factory Reset through Settings/System/Advanced System Settings/Factory Reset.
