I don't believe you ever asked for the TV model, but here it is:
Vizio E320i-B2
It worked flawlessly with the Roku, until it didn't. I believe 100% it's something done within the Roku's software that screwed up so many TVs that used to work.
I bought a new Samsung TV to replace the Vizio and it works fine, so far.
Main TV:
Sony Vizio, Model: E480o-B2, Version: V2.1.18.0888_127
Second TV;
Sony Vizio, Model: M551d-A2, Version: V2.1.18.0888_125
Error occurs on all ports on both TVs with the Roku Model:
4800X - Roku Ultra
Serial number: X01000H53A07
Device ID: S02A21353A07
Software Version: 10.5.0 - build 4193-C2
Error does not occur on both TVs with the Roku Model:
Roku 4210X, software version 10.0.0 Build 4209-04
NOTE:
The "Cityscape movie marquee" Roku sleep screensaver
< City Stroll: Movie Magic: https://youtu.be/eZ9EYgR5sSM > on the older Roku is always shown when you switch to the HDMI port it is attached to
The Roku Aquarium screensaver < https://youtu.be/cxKJhYuW8sU > used to appear in the same way (all the time - replaced by the Roku menu when you hit the 'Home' button) - at the same time the error began appearing, the Roku Aquarium screensaver disappeared - now shows nothing attached and no power when you connect to the HDMI port - replaced by the Roku menu when you hit the 'Home' button
Roku is connected directly via brand new HDMI cable:
4K HDR HDMI Cable 3 Feet, 4K 120Hz (4:4:4, HDR10 ARC HDCP 2.3/2.2) 1440p 165Hz
High Speed Ultra HD Bi-Directional Cord 26AWG Compatible with Apple-TV Ps4 Xbox One.

I'm new to the community and would like to share issues that I have been having with my Roku Ultra with Builds 4198 and 4201. I have sent a couple of emails with the Roku support team since last week and I am still waiting for a reply.
HDCP errors on all streaming services (even CBS, NBC and ABC news) started with Build 4198-C2, installed Nov. 4. The screen freezes w/ HDCP 2.2 error screen & fix instructions. Now w/ Build 4201-C2 installed Nov. 9, intermittent HDCP 2.2 error screen & fix instructions while streaming but goes back to streaming services after a few seconds, otherwise, I either get just snow onscreen or screen goes on-and-off several times while streaming. Followed fix instructions so many times and even changed HDMI cables and did multiple connection changes to all the hardware. Streaming will work for some time until the errors show up again.
Hardware: 1) Roku Ultra Model: 4800X, SN: X010001AJLUC, Device-ID: S02A208AJLUC; 2) Vizio 2019 P-Series Quantum P759-G1 TV and 3) Yamaha RX-V385 A/V. All hardware w/ current software updates. Current connection: Roku connected to Yamaha HDMI-2. Yamaha connected to Vizio HDMI-1 w/ ARC. Roku Ultra used to be connected directly on the Vizio TV HDMI 2 or 3 but keep getting the HDCP error frozen screen. The current connection does not freeze the screen but gets the new problems with the Build 4201-C2.

This error condition at least 8 days old. When can we expect resolution?

It's much older than 8 days.
Buy a new TV. That's what I did.
this is the same problem I am having, and it to just started about two weeks ago. it is almost like there was a bad update about that time.

Roku advised me to have them do a factory reset which would erase everything to a new state. I am not ready to do that. This seems to be overly burdensome to me for something which is obviously a software update error.
The point of using something like a Roku is so you can update an external device rather than the whole TV. TVs should be dumb with lots of ports. Devices that can't talk to TVs are worthless.
