Media Player glitch in music from Windows Media Server
I'm playing a folder of mp3 files from my Windows 11 PC over the network to my up-to-date Roku 3. At the beginning of every song, it plays maybe a half-second of the music, then restarts from the beginning of the song. Playback is fine after that, until the next song. Then the problem occurs again, at the beginning of each song in the folder.
It seems to me to be a bug. Is anyone else encountering this? Suggestions?
Thanks!

Note, this is occurring in the Roku Media Player app.

Re: Media Player glitch in music from Windows Media Server
2023-8. Not on Roku, but I get it too with a Sony srs-HG1 connected w/bluetooth on various playback apps on windows. Works OK over bluetooth with the srs-hg1 sony, on the iTunes windows app only for some odd reason.

Re: Media Player glitch in music from Windows Media Server
Under the “Video playback” area, it is not hard to find out the “drop frames to keep audio and video in sync” option. Make sure you check the box next to this option so that you can fix the Windows Media Player choppy video playback. Later, tab the “OK” button to save changes.
