Does not boot up, but power light is on

my power light is on and sometimes the device begins to boot up, but then freezes or goes to a no signal message on my TV. Mostly it goes directly to the no signal message on my TV. I have done a factory reset, which worked for a short time, but then reverts to no signal.

Most recent factory reset crashed after verifying internet connection.

I think it's time for a new box...

You can follow the steps provided by @renojim above the thread. Additionally, try plugging the Roku device into a different HDMI port. You can also try using a different TV to check if the Roku device is properly connected to the TV and the power outlet.

It might help to know the model number, but is it a model that uses a USB cable for power?  If you're using the TV's USB port to power it, try the provided USB power adapter or a charger/power adapter from a phone or tablet that can provide at least 1 Amp.  You might also try a different USB cable if it's not a stick that has a "bump" in the USB cable.  A stick won't work without that cable.
