Re: Changing volume and there is a voice

Hi @Faddog,

We welcome you here in the Roku Community!

We'd like to know more about the issue you've encountered and assist you with this. After changing the volume, what voice are you hearing? In addition, what steps have you gone through to resolve this?

Kindly tell us more about this so we can further help you.

All the best,

The post you were replying to didn't get carried along with your post.

WHAT did not work?

As a guess, at some point you may have hit the * key on your Roku remote four times in a short period of time. This is a shortcut that toggles the Screen Reader feature (describes menus and actions for the visually impaired) on and off, so four quick presses of the * key should toggle the feature back off.

To deactivate the four-* trigger shortcut altogether use menu path Settings > Accessibility > Shortcut (in the Screen Reader section) > Disabled.

If the above doesn't help, it's possible that this is something the TV is doing, not the Roku.  Check your TV options.
