I cancelled the France app a few weeks back, and the subscription is finished. I removed the app from the homescreen but after a while it keeps coming back right to the place it last was.
No one is re-adding the app. The app is cancelled. The subscription done. This device is tied to one email account, so there is nothing else. Tried re-starting the device ... twice. The app just keeps coming back.
For kicks, I moved the app to the bottom of my app list, waited and removed it. It came back to its old place. Any ideas?

Let's take another step to remove the app. We would recommend removing the app through the Roku mobile app to see if this one resolves the issue. Follow the steps below.
Removing apps from the Roku mobile app
- Launch the Roku mobile app
- Select Devices from the navigation bar
- Select the Apps on Roku
- Tap and hold an app to view more information (tapping quickly will open the remote)
- Tap Remove and confirm your decision

- Press Home
- Move to the right and highlight the app you wish to remove
- Press Star
- Select Remove app and confirm when prompted
In addition, kindly perform a system restart after removing the app. Follow the steps below:
- Press Home
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select System
- Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
- Select System restart
