Solving playback issues

Someone please help this clueless old lady. 
I clicked onto the “sling” thing on my Roku tv but decided NOT to watch it. 

went to another channel and I can hear the audio but the Sling screen is still there and I don’t know how to remove it.  

any advice?

Whenever having an issue with a Roku device or RokuTV, first thing to try is a Restart.

Either unplug it and plug it back in or go to Settings/System/Power/System Restart or Settings/System/System Restart depending on the device.

Hey, I did your suggested sequence of settings, system, etc 

it worked!  Bless you for helping this girl.  
I can sew like nobody’s business but tech stuff is out of my knowledge base!
