Audio feed is always out of sync with the video feed

Jump to solution

The audio is always ahead of the video feed. The video starts to play in slow motion after a few seconds, but the video stays at normal speed. I did what Roku suggested but it doesn't fix the problem.

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @Tommer.

We see you're experiencing an issue with your Roku's audio being out of sync. We'd like to know more about the problem you're facing. What troubleshooting steps have you tried? Are you experiencing this across all channels? If not, could you please provide a specific channel that is affected? When did the issue occur?

In the meantime, consider following these suggested steps:

  • Try to do a System Restart (Settings > System > Power; if Power is not listed, skip to System Restart)
  • Also, Restart your Router. Depending on your Internet Service Provider, some Routers can be restarted by unplugging them from the Power Source for a few seconds, then plugging them back in or using a restart button. Kindly refer to your internet service provider's guide for instructions on restarting the router.

Please keep us posted so we can take a closer look into it.

All the best,
Emman
