Audio becomes too loud; must exit app and re-enter every time

We have several Rokus (Basic, Stream Bar, TCL TV) and they all seem to have an issue where the audio abruptly gets very loud. The solution is to back out of the app and re-enter the app. Has anyone figure out a better solution for this? It seems many people experience it.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention that the audio of your device gets very loud. We'll be more than happy to assist you with this. 

Can you let us know if just one channel or multiple channels are affected? Also, when did this problem start occurring? 

In the meantime, you can try changing the volume mode on your streaming device:

  1. Start playing a movie, TV show, or other content
  2. Press Star Button (*) on your Roku remote
  3. Select Volume mode and choose the desired setting
