Roku Smart Home app freeze
Is it just me or is this a common issue? Almost every single day this happens. It will be working fine and then it freezes and becomes completely unresponsive.
I use the smart home app to turn on various lights and equipment around my home and shop. I use the light bulbs in my home and I use only plugs in my shop for lights, compressor and dust collection. In the home I use only bulbs by themselves. In my shop I have everything run through Definite Purpose Contacters which are relays that are wired to outlets where roku plugs control each of several circuits. The contacters are drawing less amperage than the Rokus are rated for.
The whole system comes to a halt almost every single day. It's very inconvenient. The only way to bring it up and running is by restarting my phone. I've even tried removing and installing the app and the devices but it still freezes. Also devices sometimes just go bye bye and need restarting or removal and installing. I have a robust wifi with good signal I can't see it as to problem as nothing else is affected.
