Roku setup

so i currently have a roku ultra that i bought in early 2022 the ultra has no issues reading and seeing my usb thumb drive but when i plug in my SSd via a sata to usb adapter it refuses to see the drive. im assuming the issue is related to the adpter not getting enought power. i need a recommendation for an externally powered usb to sata adapter

You might want to check Sabrent, they might have something you are looking for.  I have used some of their stuff before and they are ok.
