Roku setup

My mom has a Roku 3 (4200x) I want to replace, it seems to be pretty slow. She basically just watches Netflix and Hulu on occasion. Is the most basic one fine? I don’t need the latest and greatest but also don’t want anything too dated. Thanks

Personally, I would stick with the Express 4K+ as entry level. Even with only 2 or 3 apps used, the plain Express has so little memory that it constantly has to redownload them. The 4K+ is noticeably faster, and has more than enough storage memory for apps. The 4K+ also comes with a wireless voice remote. The Express has just the basic IR remote.
