Roku not sending activation email

Every time i try to activate my device it never sends the activation email. I’ve tried 3 different emails and it’s not sending to either one.

I finally got it to work and get past the email part 

 

1. unplug the tv for about 7 min

2.Press and hold star button on remote 

3. Go down and press factory reset 

 

When it resets , choose your language , country etc

 

wheb you get to the email part it should go through

Nothing i have done seems to let me get off of the same place, i click resend email and edit this email so many times. I reset it, factory reset, tried different emails, tried different wifi. I try to click home but it doesn’t let me. Please help

We appreciate your patience regarding this matter. I understand that you are receiving an error message "We can’t seem to reach you by email" when activating your Roku devices.

You can try performing a factory reset on your device. This will reset all settings and return your Roku device to a state ready for initial setup.
 

Follow the steps below from your Roku device to perform a factory reset.

  1. Press the Home button home on your Roku remote.
  2. Scroll up or down and select Settings.
  3. Select System.
  4. Select Advanced system settings.
  5. Select Factory reset.
  6. Select Factory reset everything and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you are still unable to resolve the issue please provide the serial number/device ID on your Roku device. I'll be able to pass along the information to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further.

If you are still unable to get an activation code, we recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device.

In addition, have you checked your spam folder or do you have a computer you can access the website with? We also suggest trying to reload the web browser or use a different one to access http://my.roku.com

If you are still having any issues with unable to receive an activation code after following these steps, please provide the serial number of your Roku device so we can assist further.

Completed the factory reset but still receiving message that “We can’t seem to reach you by email “ message. Pressing Home button takes me no where. Now what??
