Roku setup

I recently bought the Roku Ultra 2024 and have loved it. I decided to buy a Vizio 5.1 surround system and it isn't working. The Roku won't use the surround sound speaker. It will use a sound bar but that's it.

When I go to my Vizio built in apps it uses all the speakers without issue.

I really hate the Vizio smart bs and want to use my Roku .

Just some info I'm using an HDMI Arc port for the sound system.

I'm wondering if I use an optical port would I change anything?

We understand that the surround sound on your TV system is not working on your Roku Ultra. 

We recommend contacting Vizio directly for further assistance. The audio output settings can be adjusted within the TV's menu, and the Vizio support team is available to assist you with this.
