Roku setup

I just installed a Roku Ultra which is connected to my Panasonic TV which is connected via HDMI 3 and now has Verizon connected via HDMI 1. Roku works well but when I switch to HDMI 1 I cannot use my Verizon remote. As soon as I touch any button on the Verizon remote it switches to Roku. 

I want to have Roku on HDMI 3 and Verizon on HDMI 1. How do I do this?

Setting->System->Control other devices.  Uncheck "1-touch play".

After this solution, another problem:   Now my input won't work at all from Verizon.
