Setup process unsuccessful with Roku Express 4K

I'm having the same issue I have an eating TV and it is not in the drop-down box and it's not available so I cannot go forward in the process of setting this up so does this mean that I'm not able to use my TV with the Roku Express 4K even though I have the HDMI set up and everything is working properly
