Setting up a Roku with an AVR and a projector using 1-way HDMI?

I'm interested in setting up a Roku Ultra while using a Denon Reciever (AVR) for audio and a Epson projector where the projector and AVR are connected using a high-speed, 1-way HDMI cable.

Question A: should the roku connect to an HDMI port on the AVR receiver or the projector?

Question B: Since the HDMI cable is "1-way", should the end marked "display" plug into the projector and the HDMI end marked "source" plug into the AVR or vice-versa (depending on where the Roku is connected)?

Thanks!

I had never heard of a 1-way HDMI cable, but I guess they exist.  You should plug the stick into your AVR and the AVR's output should go to the projector.  The display end of the cable should be connected to the projector.  If you plug the stick into the projector you won't get any sound unless the projector has speakers.
