I am trying to set up my Roku TV and currently when I power on, the default screen is the DVD player. I hit the home button to get to the home screen. I'm trying to set the home screen as the default when the TV powers on. I searched online, but when I go to Settings and then System, there is no place that says Power. My other Roku TVs have it, but not the one I need to change. Any suggestions?
Is this really a Roku TV or a Roku device connected to a non-Roku TV?
It is a Roku TV
You can set the input to be connected when the tv first powers up via:
Settings > System > Power > Power on
You can choose the Roku Home Screen, a specific input, or have it return to whatever was the last input used.
Did you ever solve? I have same problem. Is an actual TCL Roku tv. Power is not an option that is displayed.
Solution listed here doesn't work. Power is not a listed item in System Settings. This is a Roku update error. The actual fix to the question here is to factory reset and then choose home use when setting up.
What model Roku TV do you have (Settings > System > About)?
My TCL Roku TV model 43S425 running Roku software version 12.5.5 very definitely has a Settings > System > Power > Power on menu path for setting the startup screen.
It isn't a Roku TV model number issue. The answer and solution are with how it is originally set up. If originally set up choosing store, you don't get the power option. To solve, you have to factory reset and choose home.
