The extender is for the Streaming Stick only. "my.roku.com/hdmi". Hope this helps you.

Hello, I am experiencing the same "no signal" issue but my Roku Streaming Stick Plus has worked fine for years. I have tried different HDMI ports, changed batteries in the remote, rebooted WIFI, unplugged the TV etc. but nothing works! I have the Roku stick plugged into a wall outlet and the light on the stick is on. Please help!
Go to 'myroku.com/hdmi' and order an extender. That is what I did.

Yes it did. I haven't had any trouble since adding the extender.
I have the same issue but my Roku is working on other tvs and even on my tv when not plugged into the sound system. But if I don't plug it into the sound system, the sound does not work. It was working in the past and then just stopped working. My tv sound system is otherwise working.
My roku is a streaming stick- SNC237AE652631
MY TV is LG 60PS60
My sound system is Sony DA2400ES
