Roku 4k plus on outdated tv

I have an old tv from 2006, a Toshiba mw20f52. I have bought hdmi to AV adapter cables and even a converter box to adapt the roku device to my tv. Even after all these connections there is no sound or picture coming through. I have also tried to contact customer service on the phone, no one has answered my calls and there is no email address to reach them. Does anyone know how to successfully connect a roku 4k plus to my outdated tv? Will I need a new tv?

Found interesting website with info:

https://crtdatabase.com/crts/toshiba/toshiba-mw20f52

To be honest, buy a new TV. There are many basic TV in that size range. It looks like 24 inch is the closest widescreen equivalent. A quick look on Amazon and I see some as cheap as $65. And even at that price, the picture will be much better than your old CRT.

Most everything is a Smart TV these days, but you can always use the Roku through an input.

What adapter? A lot of people shoot themselves in the foot by buying the wrong gadget such as composite to HDMI instead of HDMI to composite, or a simple adapter cable that only works with a very few products. (And, of course, a new TV would be vastly better.)

I assume you know how to select inputs on the TV.  (Just covering the bases.)

Banned but back. Because why not?
