Problem connecting to a resort’s internet
I stay at a lot of Club Wyndham resorts and take my Roku Express 4K+ to access all my streaming services.
These resorts all use ResortNet2 for their guests to use; asking guests to input their name and room number. This has been working fine for me until trip. When I connect to the local network my Roku is not asking me if I am in a hotel or dorm; therefore I can not enter the validation information for my access to the internet.
my last software update took place on 1/8/25.
any suggestions as to why this started? It worked fine when I traveled in November of 2024.

Re: Problem connecting to a resort’s internet
Are you able to logout of ResortNet system with all your devices first and then try using the Roku device?
Some users have reported that the order in which they connect the Roku device to the Hotel/Dorm mode sometimes makes a difference due to the hotel's network settings. (especially when using some iphones).

Can post some workarounds to get you streaming if we know what you have available to you. Do you have a laptop (and what OS) and/or a mobile phone that allows for hotspot/wifi tethering?
The above will allow you to create a "hotspot" but use the hotel's wifi instead of your own data and then you can connect your Roku to that connection. (just need to know what you have available to you to tailor response).
Just another Roku user... I am not a Roku employee.
