Issues connecting my Roku TV to my mobile hotspot.

I used to have my Roku TV connected to my mobile hotspot for months and it worked great. But for some reason now it won't connect. I've even made sure my mobile data was set on 2.4 and not the 5.0. I've restarted both my Roku TV and my mobile device and it still won't connect. I had no problems before. Why won't it work now?

I get that you tried everything to get your mobile hotspot back up and running. I'm here to help out!

You can try resetting the network connection on your Roku device by following these steps: go to Settings > Advanced System Settings > Network Connection Reset > Reset Connection.

Check the signal strength of your hotspot, as weak signals can cause connectivity issues. Also, verify your data limit, as exceeding it may prevent you from connecting.

It didn't work. I turn my hotspot on and it says there is 1 device connected and Roku is the only thing I've had connected to my hotspot. But it won't connect when I put in my password even after it says 1 device connected. What do I do???

The issue seems to persist; we need to investigate further. Could you please provide more details about it?

  1. Are you receiving any error messages or codes after attempting to connect to your network using the provided credentials)
  2. Have you noticed other available network names displayed on your TV screen while trying to connect to your hotspot?
  3. Have you contacted your internet provider for assistance?
