I have 1 Roku account with our 4 t.v.s. I delete the YouTube app from my kids t.v. but it deletes from my t.v. as well. Can we not have different apps on each t.v.?

Nope, that's the way Roku accounts work. All devices linked to the same account will have the same apps installed. The only way around this is to use a different email address and create a new account for the kid's TV.
