I do not have an AV Input button. I have HDMI 1(ARC), HDMI2, HDMI3, Cable TV and Live TV. I have my dvd player plugged into the AV spots (Red Yellow and White) but cannot get my tv to rec0gnize the player.
@roccaswell, I assume you're talking about a Roku TV? Look under Settings->TV inputs to add the AV input to the Home Screen.
Stevek83 thanks ... this worked for me as well! Before I found your comment I was thinking it might be time to ditch this TV once and for all! 🙂
Update..... after a bunch of trial and error, I somehow found that it had be renamed as Cable TV. Removed it, restarted the TV, and it works. Thanks for the help everyone !

Hi @Theriot77,
Thanks for posting in the Roku Community!
We would recommend taking a look at our Support page for more information regarding how to set up your Roku TV and connect to other devices: How to set up your Roku TVâ„¢ | Official Roku Support or you may refer to the quick start guide for steps to step details.

You totally and completely ROCK!!!🤗
Glad to hear it worked out for you.
Connected red to yellow and yellow to red on my AV adapter and it worked.
I was having the same issue where I would go to my settings and the only options I had was rename or remove the AV input.
JUST REMOVE IT! After I removed the AV input, I had the option to add it back, and I was able to use it and successfully played my Nintendo 64 on Roku!
