How to access numbered channels with a Roku Premier

Jump to solution

While watching on my Roku TV, I see ads for programs on a numbered channel.

How can I access those numbered channels on my Roku Premier device on a regular TV?  As an example, Doctor Who is on channel 757, how do I view it on the Roku Premier?

Thanks in advance

Doctor Who is on ch.757 on the Roku Channel LiveTV.

1. If not already installed on your Roku Premiere, install the Roku Channel or LiveTV on the Roku Channel Shortcut.

2. Launch the Roku Channel, LiveTV on the Roku Channel, or select LiveTV from the menu on left side menu of Home Screen. (If you do not see Live TV in Home Screen Menu, may have to enable it. (Settings/Home Screen/Live TV/Show)

3. Once you are in the LiveTV portion of the Roku Channel in one of the above methods, you can either scroll down the guide to ch.757, or use the Voice Remote and press the microphone button. Say "Dr. Who" or alternatively, say "Channel 757" and the appropriate channel will be brought up.

Additionally, you can also use the Roku Remote mobile app to use either the microphone or the keyboard feature and type in the number of the channel. (works only with Roku Channel).

(You can scroll quickly through the Live TV guide by pressing the FF or Rewind buttons on your Roku Remote.
